After having a look of what CompTIA A+ proposes, it is clear that this is the point to begin any IT journey. Even that CompTIA offers the most foundational certification with ITF+ (https://www.comptia.org/certifications/it-fundamentals) it is the A+ the one that places you in a good position to apply to the first IT jobs.
My tips about how to better prepare for the A+ exams are:
- Get a good Reading book (I suggest Mike Meyer's)
-Watch good video classes (I suggest Mike Meyer and Jason Dion at Udemy.org or Professor Messer)
-Get practice exams
-And last and more important, spend time practicing and building home labs.
The most important point is that you need understand all the content.
